                          MONTHLY STAMP AUCTION
The  August list can be viewed in the Philaquad

NOTE:  We will have the doors open at 5.30 this time, half an hour earlier, because we have visitors from the Wisconsin Federation of Stamp Clubs. Anna and Keith Trishan will arrive early and bring up to 50 lots along for a silent auction. Everybody will have opportunity to put in bids on this silent auction before we begin our regular meeting.  The 50 lots were left over from the big Stamp Show in Fond-du-Lac this year.
I hope everyone will show up and bid on some of those lots! They can be great bargains. It means that our regular meeting might start a little bit later than normal, but not much later. Anna and Keith will tell us a little bit more about the WFSC and what it means for us as club members. Also, I have prepared a short presentation about watermark detection (Why to do it, How to do it, Challenges).  Of course we will have our regular 35 lot auction as well.
Normally, each auction consists of 35 lots consigned by club members.  Ninety percent of the winning goes to the seller and 10% to the Club.  Lots may also be donated to the Club for auction.
Lots being entered in auction should have a catalog value of $10.00 or more.

In December, QCSC members donate lots to a
White Elephant Auction which provides funds for the rent of our meeting facilities. There will also be a Christmas gift exchange.

If you have items you want to sell, click here for a blank Auction Sheet  and follow these guidelines .
